Yes, Duran Duran have a new album and are touring again.  Things didn't go too well on the opening night of the tour, Simon Le Bon forgot the words to "Hungry Like the Wolf" and John Taylor stormed off stage during a song because as he said, "I could not dance to that. These people came here to dance."   This tour is to promote the "Red Carpet Massacre" album which flopped when it was released last year.  With Justin Timberlake and producer Timberland on board for the album, it's not really much of a surprise is it?  Quite a fall from the last album with all five original members and a huge world tour to back it.  It's not a big surprise that Andy wanted nothing to do with the current album.

What is this board?
This board contains posts that are of cool stuff that ChuckyG and the moderators think should appear on the front page of ChuckyG's other sites: inthe70s.com, inthe80s.com, inthe90s.com, and amiright.com. Posts that are clearly about something from a specific decade will appear on the appropriate decade site, stuff that is about humorous music stories will appear on amiright.com. Posts are also eligible for the front page of inthe00.

What can of post are we looking for?
Cool video clips, stories about performers that aren't in the public eye anymore, reviews of cool websites.  We're looking for one or two paragraph descriptions of content that is on other sites that we should call attention to.  Your best bet, is to look at the topics in this board to see examples of what a good post looks like.

How do I post something?
Write a new topic in the Front Page Roar Submission Board..  If the moderators think it's good enough to make it to the front page of one of the sites, they will modify your post and move it  into this board.

Why not write my own blog?
Most people don't have the desire to devote their free time to building a blog by themselves. In order to build a successful blog, you need to write every day and heavily promote yourself.  With the inthe00s blog system, your posts have the potential to be seen by a few thousand people almost immediately and you can write a post whenever you want.

Can I repost my Front Page Roar entry on my own blog?
Sure, I have no problems with that. I do ask that we can keep the copy at inthe00s (no time limits, etc). 

Can I make a post about an entry on my blog?
Only if the entry is unique.  We're not interested in linking to a blog post about content on another site which is on another site, etc.
